Candle Care - essential information you need to know

  • Firstly it's always best to place your candle on a heat resistant surface which is stable and level.
  • Trim your wick before or after each use to 5mm to clear mushroom head and prevent potential smoke and larger flame.
  • On your first burn light your candle for 2-3 hours approximately to create an even melt pool. This will avoid memory tunnelling. For larger 5 wick candles you may have to burn for 4 hours on first burn to ensure even melt pool.
  • Never burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time to avoid overheating.
  • STOP burning your candle when there is 15mm of wax left in the bottom to avoid smoke and jar cracking from overheating!

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Avoid exposure to drafts and direct sunlight. Never burn candle on or near anything flammable.
  • Handle with care as container and wax may become hot.

Burning Hours: Depend on environmental conditions, care of your candle and other factors your soy candle should burn for many hours, depending on net weight.

Please note: Decorations can be left in candle placed away from the open flame and left to the outer edges when burning. They will not be a fire hazard in this position. When melt pool reaches the decorations they sink into the wax making them safe.
