Elevate your space with Nrglife Diffusers

A diffuser is the easiest way to keep a room smelling beautiful without a flame. No matches, no melting, no watching the clock — you set it up once and it quietly works in the background for months. That makes diffusers perfect for the rooms where a candle isn't practical: the powder room, a hallway, a bathroom, the office, anywhere you can't keep an eye on it.
Here's what's actually in the bottle, because you deserve to know. The whole range sits on the same eco base — a plant-derived solvent (its proper name is a bit of a mouthful: 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-ylmethanol, from the dioxolane family) that carries the fragrance and releases it slowly and evenly. It's alcohol-free and paraben-free, and a deliberate step away from the petroleum-based solvents a lot of cheap diffusers are built on. When we tested it against an alcohol base, ours lasted around 30% longer — so you get more months out of the same jar. And it's safe to have around children and pets, which matters when it's sitting on a shelf for months at a time.
If a blend looks faintly fruity or floral in colour, that's the natural fragrance and oils — not dye. It only adds to the look and appeal.
The diffusers we make (and which suits what)
Reed Diffuser — a clear glass jar with a natural timber collar and rattan reeds. The reeds drink up the oil and release it into the air. This is your everyday, set-and-forget option for a small to medium room. Every one comes with a complimentary flower reed for a soft finishing touch. You control how strong it is two ways: how many reeds you use, and how often you flip them. Fewer reeds for a gentle background scent; flip them more often when you want a fresh lift. Want to personalise the look? Drop Deco shells or crystals into the jar — they sink to the bottom and change the whole feel of the piece to match your décor.
And if you already love your diffuser jar, you don't need to buy a whole new one. Our Refills come in every scent with fresh reeds included — keep the glass and the timber cap, pour in the refill, swap the reeds, done. Better for your wallet and the planet.
How long they last, and how to get the most out of them
A reed diffuser will run about 3–4 months in a small to medium room. To get there: keep it somewhere cool with good airflow, out of direct sun and away from air-con vents and heaters (heat and draughts burn through the oil faster). For a larger or open-plan space, two diffusers will do far more than one working overtime.
So don't overthink it. Start with one diffuser in the room that needs it most, notice how it makes you feel, and build from there. You can't get it wrong.
Diffuser Oils for Electric Ultrasonic Diffusers — if you already own an electric ultrasonic (water-mist) diffuser, these are for you. A generous 30ml glass jar with a natural timber dropper, highly concentrated and made here in Australia, so you add just a few drops to the water and adjust the strength yourself. A big range to choose from — essential oils, natural oils and fragrance blends.
Getting the best from your ultrasonic diffuser oils — a few honest tips:
- Start slow. Add only 3–5 drops to your water tank to begin. Too much oil actually dilutes the scent and can leave a residue.
- Keep it clean. To keep the machine hygienic and free of mould, wipe down the water basin and the ultrasonic disc with a little rubbing alcohol or mild soap every few days.
- Never use in a warm-mist machine. If yours is a warm-mist steamer or vaporiser, don't add oils to the boiling chamber — it can damage the heating element. These oils are for cold ultrasonic diffusers.

P.S. If you're brand new to diffusers, a single reed diffuser with a refill is the easiest, most forgiving place to start. Keep it cool, flip the reeds when you want a lift, and you'll get months out of it.
