Held at the Nrglife Products studio at Banksia Beach, Queensland (76kms north of Brisbane). It is basically halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Candles

• Learn how to make your very own soy candles.
• Understand the art and process of candle making.
• Learn how to solve common candle making problems in an easy and simple way.
• Learn about different types of waxes.
• How to measure the amount of wax a vessel will hold.
• How to use fragrances and the recommended quantity for a candle.
• How to choose the correct Wick and size for each chosen vessel, to avoid the tunnelling pitfalls or mushrooming.
• Learn what temperatures to use for melting and pouring that make the best candles.
• Warning and Product Labels.

Diffusers

• What is the best bottle one should use.
• How to measure the amount of diffuser base a bottle will hold.
• How to use essential oils and fragrances and the recommended quantity for a diffuser.
• How to select the perfect Reeds size.
• Should one choose coloured Reeds?
• Warning and Product Labels.

Room Spray

• What is the best spray bottle one should use.
• How to measure the amount of spray base a spray bottle will hold.
• How to use essential oils and fragrances and the recommended quantity for a spray bottle.
• Warning and Product Labels.

• This class is hands-on, personalised and tailored to your requirements. It’s ideal for beginners who have never made a candle before and want to get started to make candles at home.
• This class is not suitable for small children however children over the age of 10 who will be accompanied by an adult are welcome.

Everything is provided.

Casual clothes and sensible shoes.

An Apron will be provided for you to wear on the day!

Keep in mind making home fragrances can be a little messy.

An instructional workbook will be emailed to you on completion of the Class. Valued supplier information will also be provided.

We are flexible, this is your private class. The best way to learn is practice.

I am very careful about the ingredients I use and recommend.

If you are under 3 months pregnant, we recommend staying at home, put your feet up and play it safe. Fragrance oils will be used in this class.

Workshops are Pre-Paid to ensure your position in the workshop. Please give me at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend your private workshop to avoid forfeiting the workshop. If you give me 48 hours or more notice, I am happy to offer you a different workshop date.

While arriving, attending, and leaving the workshop, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop.
